ABSTRACT OF THE LESSON

Sociology means socio and associate, study of society. In a community, as in any other pocket of society, socialization or associate to other people is a vital. This is why it is important for one to be a good individual and good conversationalist that can interact in different people and at different places. Example if you are decided to go abroad, you can’t exist to that kind of environment if you do not know how to associate and act together with people around you.

THREE THINGS I LEARNED FROM THE LESSON

ü I learned that in sociology I must be a good conversationalist to contribute much too to build understanding and to finding solutions for community problems, it simply means that if you say sociology the strongest social urge is to connect, to share, to become one with people. It illustrate if we know how to associate if where problems are given solutions, if where misunderstandings are straightened out, may be where bright ideas are born.
ü I learned sociology is important because it helps one in winning friends and having success in any field of endeavor.
ü Also I learned that our self are mold by the society and also by our own. You are ignorant in the eyes of some people if you are alone and don’t even exist in the society. According to Herbert Spencer society is growing organism “Survival of the Fittest” as we say “Matira matibay”.

IMPLICATIONS OF THE NEW THINGS I LEARNED TO ME AS A PERSON

All that I learned I know that all of these helps to build my character also society grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference to maintain one another with disruption of one part effecting readjustment of the others. In school it is part of the society that builds me as individual, I’m here because I want to learn and of course I have to cope not only with the new challenges but also in the many physical, emotional spiritual and even social changes.

“Our own existence is bound with the existence of the people around us”
